A multimedia opera that revolves around the oldest Maltese poem ever written in existence, ‘Kantilena’ by Pietru Caxaro. Produced by Reuben Pace, this opera reimagines Caxaro’s historical piece of poetry to suit a contemporary context with the use of modern Maltese poetry written by Charles Flores and Simone Inguanez, contemporary art music produced and production by Reuben Pace, and choreography by Francesca Tranter.
